Shuangfeng No.1 Middle School originated from the Shuangfeng Academy established in the 25th year of Qianlong's reign in the Qing Dynasty (1760). Since the establishment of the new school in 1905, it has been renamed as Shuangfeng high school, Shuangfeng senior primary school, Hunan private Shuangfeng junior high school, the second junior high school in Xiangxiang County, the first junior high school in Shuangfeng County, Hunan Province.
